How to Socialize

It may be true that since the economic recovery, the job market has opened up. However, it is still necessary to protect yourself for the future – you'll never know when uncertainty will hit you. The first important step in armouring your career is to sharpen your socializing skills. By networking you are ultimately becoming the eyes and ears of the company, and with that, you become an invaluable asset. Being the eyes and ears also allows you to be at the forefront of the game. If better opportunity comes your way, you'll be know when to jump. When meeting people it is most important to start remembering names. Remembering someone's name shows that you think importantly of the person, and everyone likes to feel important. It's also a good idea to remind the person your name and not to assume the person already knows it, even if you're someone as famous as Megan Fox. When giving a handshake ensure that it is strong enough to leave an impression but not enough to break his or her hand.
