How to Do Masculine Without Dressing Like a Man

Every season, there's some element of manly clothing that seeps into our wardrobes, and makes it onto global catwalks. If you want to do the trend, but are worried that you will end up looking too mannish, then read on. The trick here is to play with volume. Men's clothing is typically roomier than women's, and as such, will bulk you up when worn. To counter this effect, you want to pair masculine items with slim fit, girly ones. Think skinny black trousers, a tight, fitted and girlie cardigan, and an oversized boyfriend blazer. The same applies if you're doing masculine trousers or jeans. Keep your top girlie and form fitting, whether it's a simple tank or a tight white shirt. Add feminine touches to the outfit, like a lacy top or a beautiful piece of jewelry, and you should strike just the right balance.
