The Secrets of Hat for the Wedding

As a guest at the wedding, you might decide that you would like to wear a hat with the outfit you have chosen. There are a few things to remember when choosing a hat, which could either complement, or ruin your outfit. If you have a high-collared jacket, you should avoid heavy brims, as the face tends to disappear into the neck of your outfit. Big hats look good with low necklines and three-quarter length jackets or long dresses, but don't go well with short jackets or boleros. The brim of the hat should be within the width of the shoulders, so as to avoid looking top heavy. Also, a hat that lets the light through, or a hat with a brim which turns outwards are better choices, as they prevent shadows being cast on the face.
