Secrets of Using Your Cellphone as a Modem

Chances are, at home and the office, you have ADSL internet that's always on. However, if you travel, or if, god forbid, for some reason your faithful internet goes down, it never hurts to have a backup plan. Using mobile broadband might just be the solution in a pinch. While it's not as fast or reliable as ADSL and other types of networks, it can work anywhere that you have a cellphone signal, and it's usually fairly easy to set up. All you need is a cellphone that is capable of being a modem, the software that comes with it, and your network's login details. Once you have those, setting up a modem connection is a simple matter of clicking on the internet or connection icon, and entering the relevant information . Within minutes, no matter where in the world you are, you will have a connection. Pretty cool if you ask me!
