Why You Should Use Removable Seat Covers in Your Car

Even if you have bought a new car, with pristine new seats, it's a good idea to consider buying a set of removable car seat covers. Here's why. First, there's the issue of dirt. Car seats are difficult to clean, as their covers are fixed in place. That means that, especially if you travel with kids or pets, who are notorious for messing, you might find yourself shelling out for professional cleaning more often than you'd like. With removable seat covers, you can simply remove them and run them through the washing machine. Then there is wear and tear. Often, particularly with cloth upholstered seats and particularly those that you use often, the fabric will wear, leaving you with seats that look different. If you use removable car seat covers, then you can simply replace the covers when they are worn. If you don't, you may have to have your seats replaced or reupholstered – an expensive exercise!
