Secrets of Staying Awake in the office

It feels like you've burnt an entire day in the office, but as you turn to look at the time on the clock, you realize its only an hour since you've got to work. The day has barely started. In a place like Singapore, where the sky never seems to make up its mind, the crazy weather doesn't help the mood either. A great idea is to, well, snack in the office. That means skipping that leftover cake from yesterday's birthday and opting for something like a nuts or fruits. One of the causes of tiredness is dehydration. Hence if you're tired, maybe it's your body telling you to go drink some water! Still not awake? Maybe a run up the stairs will wake up your mind since getting your mind pumping and blood racing often gets your mind into work mode. If people are going to give you weird looks after you come in from a run then maybe you can opt for something peaceful like breathing techniques. Practice the Buddhist way by breathing in through your stomach instead of the top half of your lungs. However, if you always feel tired, maybe it's time to tackle the root of the issue; knowing why you get tired can help you fight it when it happens.
