Secrets of Painting a Mural

If you have a bare wall in your home that you'd like to decorate, then painting a wall mural is a great idea. But, I hear you say, you can't draw to save your life. The good news is that with the right tools, and a good idea, it's easy for anyone to create something beautiful. What you need to do is draw or trace the design you want onto ordinary white paper. Then take it to a copy store, and have it put onto a plain transparency. Once you have the design on transparency, you can use an overhead projector to position it on the wall you plan to decorate, and move it around until you get the size and position you want. Then, it's a simple matter of tracing the design you've created onto the wall with pencil, and once that's done, filling it in with paint. You can choose to do any design, whether it's something fun for the kids' rooms, something trendy for your living room, or a romantic design for your bedroom.
