How to Remove Your Car from Long Term Storage

Getting your stored car back on the road is a little trickier than storing it in the first place. Bring a spare battery, tyre pump, spark plug spanner, oil, fuel, oil filter and fuel filter. Purchase a new battery if your car has been stored for longer than a year. Otherwise, try charging your old battery. Check tyre pressure and remove blocks or stands. Change the oil and oil filter. Drain the gas tank and add new gas if the car has been stored for more than 3 years. The fuel filter might be clogged with residue, change that if needed
