Why You Should Be Using Silicone Bake Ware

A few years ago, you had a couple of choices when it came to bake ware. You could get the ordinary metal variety, that would discolor or rust, aluminum, which did not conduct heat very well, or non stick, that eventually started to flake off into your baked goods. These days, there's something else – silicone bake ware. When I first saw this stuff on the shelf, I was skeptical. I mean, it looks like it should melt, right? Well it doesn't. In fact, it can withstand temperatures far higher than your average oven could possibly reach. It's also super easy to clean, and because it's flexible, getting your baked goods out has never been simpler. My opinion? This is one trend that's worth the hype!
