Why You Should Be Careful of Holiday Romances

We've all done it – or at least thought about it. Meet the hot guy on your foreign holiday, throw caution to the wind, and embark on a torrid affair. However, while most of these work out just fine, there are some horrific tales out there that you need to bear in mind. First, there's the issue of scam artists. These men target and pray on women tourists, luring them in, only to steal their valuables or money. Then there are the men who don't understand no, and molest or assault women, and finally, there is the threat of human trafficking, which still takes place in many parts of the world. Make sure that if you do go out with a local, someone always knows where you are, or that you are in a group. Stick to public places, a nd take minimal cash and valuable items with you. If things do progress, also remember to be safe. Remember, bad things happen, even when you are on holiday.
