Why You Need a Will

No one wants to think about dying, but the fact is, we all die at some point, and no one can predict when that will happen. If you don't have a will at the time of your death, then the government will step in, and take over the handling of your estate. That might mean that the people you want to inherit your estate won't, and that the whole affair will take a lot longer than it could. Drawing up a will can be as simple as purchasing a template document, and following the instructions, or, if you have a large estate, you may need to approach a lawyer. You will also need to appoint an executor to carry out your wishes, and you might want to let your partner or family know a few details. Whatever you do though, make sure you do it soon, and avoid any hassles.
