How to Make Salad Kebabs

These kebabs are very quick and easy to make, and look beautiful. They are great to serve at a casual barbeque, or at a sit-down meal. Salad kebabs should be made with only the freshest fruits and vegetables, and not longer than an hour or two before serving, or they tend to dry out. Have a variety of fruits and vegetables of different colors and cut into bite-size pieces. Carefully thread them onto skewers, alternating the vegetables and the colors. Because they are on skewers, they can be arranged on a tray or platter in different ways, for your guests to help themselves. The bite-size fruits and vegetables can also be quickly marinated in a dressing before threading onto the skewers.
