How to Save On College Costs

We all know by now that a college education is the single greatest stepping stone to success. It's also, unfortunately, one of the most expensive things you will ever have to pay for. However, there are ways you can lessen the cost of college, and here are some ideas – even if you don't qualify for a scholarship! First, consider state schools. Just because they are public and not private, that does not mean that they are any less prestigious. In fact, some state colleges are among the best in the country. Doing your first year or two of college via correspondence, or through a community college, can also save you money, and if you really excel, you might have a shot at a partial or full scholarship later on.
