How to Make Anchovy and Green Pepper Dip

Dips are always useful to snack on while having drinks, or to serve instead of a starter before a main menu. Serve them with breads and crudités, place them all around the room, and your guests can help themselves. Different types of crackers are also quite suitable for the dip. Drain a 50g can of anchovies and soak them in milk for about 10 minutes to reduce the saltiness. Remove from the milk and place them together with 250ml white breadcrumbs, 1 small seeded and diced green pepper, and 2 chopped spring onions, into a processor fitted with the metal blade, and process until well blended. Add 45ml each of cultured sour cream and mayonnaise, and process again. Now, add a little squeezed lemon juice to tast e, cover, and refrigerate before serving.
