How to Have a Great Wedding with Less Expense

The reception is the one area where you can save a lot of money, by cutting all the extras. Unless you have a company that offers you a fantastic deal, which includes everything, you don't need all those extras. For instance, you could choose to have your reception earlier in the day, so that you don't have to provide your guests with dinner in the evening. Platters with finger foods, placed strategically around the venue, along with your wedding cake, will be sufficient as far as the eats go. Another area where you can save a lot of money is by only having champagne for the toast, and let your guests pay for their own drinks by having a cash bar, and you provide tea, coffee, soft drinks, or punch. You could also s kip the rental of fancy linen, china and silverware, which will also save you plenty of money.
