Secrets of Vintage Fur

Now, before I upset anyone, let me be clear. I am against the fur trade. I think any new fur is an abomination, and since the new faux versions are so real looking anyway, there's no real reason to buy real fur anyway. However, there are still quite a few vintage furs out there, and the way I see it, there is nothing we can do about them, so we might as well make the most of them, and wear them. At least then those poor animals didn't die for no reason at all. You might find, however, that your vintage fur, whether it's from granny or a second hand store, has a distinct odor of mothballs. In that case, it's best to take it to a company that specializes in cleaning fur. Never try to wash or dry clean them, as you will probably ruin them completely.
