How to Make Sure Your Car Is Repaired Properly

It's very frustrating getting your car back from a workshop after repairs have been done and finding that problems and faults are still there. This is usually because of communication issues, or because the mechanics are not accredited. Before giving the go-ahead for repairs or taking your car in to a workshop, find out if the company or mechanic is qualified and that they are registered with the relevant organization or governing body. This varies from state to state and from country to country. Any bad workmanship can be reported and dealt with if you have the backing of the car manufacturer. Make a list of the problems that have to be dealt with regarding your car. Be sure that the mechanic or workshop manager understands what is wrong and that you are aware of the costs and procedures needed to fix them. Some customers go as far as taping the list of problems to the steering wheel, so that nothing is ignored or left out.
