How to Make the Most of Vegetables

For a well-balanced, nutritional diet, vegetables should be included in everyday meals. It is therefore very important that when served, they retain their maximum flavor, color, texture, and food value. There are numerous types of vegetables to choose from, so there is no need to limit your choice to only a few varieties. Also, there are many ways to cook and serve vegetables, including raw, as dippers or in salads. Vegetables are tasty and add beautiful color to any meal, so a squeeze of lemon juice and a pinch of herbs can be just as interesting as a rich sauce. Some vegetables can be coated in batter, and served as great, tasty, finger food, or vegetables that can be pickled, and used as a side dish for certain meals.
