Secrets of Making a Dry Scrub Mix

If you want to make a scrub that you can keep around for a while, use when necessary, and store easily in a Ziploc bag or airtight container, then there's a simple recipe that can do just that. What you need is a coffee grinder or blender, a quarter cup each of oatmeal, raw sunflower seeds, raw almonds, and white cosmetic clay. Add a generous pinch of dried peppermint and cinnamon, and grind to a course powder. As long as you keep the mixture dry, you can keep it for around a year, add a little water or milk, mix to a paste and apply. Use either as a scrub, or simply leave on longer, and use as a mask.
