Secrets of the Hair Flick

We've seen it on icons like Farrah Fawcett, and on starlets like Jessica Simpson, but the flick, in the decades since it first appeared, has never lost its charm. Getting the flick right can be a tricky proposition however. To do it, the easiest way to do that is to work some mousse into your hair, and use a flat iron to sweep the hair alongside your face upwards and away. Aim to angle the iron towards your ear, and you should have it just right. If you're heading somewhere where wind is likely to be a factor, and then a spritz of hair spray after you're done is a good idea too, but don't overdo it – you do still want some movement!
