Okay, so if you're a girl, chances are you've watched Sex and the City at some point. If you have, then you've certainly seen Carrie's obsession with designer shoes. Every girl dreams of owning a cupboard full of gorgeous, delicate, quirky and delicious heels that cost a small fortune. However, few of us ever will. When you do get the opportunity to splurge, however, there are still a few rules you should follow. First, make sure that you can actually wear the shoes you're buying. Sure, it's great to own gorgeous heels, but if you can't walk more than two steps in them, they are not fulfilling their purpose. Even you can't justify that, and besides, you'd be more likely to stumble and damage them. Second, decide on a budget, and then shop around - Expensively. Make a list of your favorites (or take snaps with y our camera phone) and then take a day or two to make up your mind.
